Data Integrity & Damage Policy
Last Updated: May 01, 2026
1. Our Commitment
CodeAchi Libcodesk is designed to protect library data through structured storage, validation, and secure workflows. We take reasonable technical precautions to reduce the risk of data corruption, unauthorized access, and accidental loss.
2. Your Responsibility
- Maintain regular external backups of your library database, documents, exports, and important operational data.
- Protect your device, operating system, database files, cloud account, and administrator credentials.
- Avoid forced shutdowns, unsafe file edits, unsupported database tools, and manual tampering with application data.
- Verify backups periodically so restoration is possible when needed.
3. Offline & Local Database Use
When using desktop or offline mode, your library data may reside on the local device. Local data can be affected by hardware failure, operating system corruption, malware, disk damage, accidental deletion, or lack of backup discipline. These risks are outside our direct control.
4. Limitation of Liability
While we work to keep the software reliable, CodeAchi is not liable for data loss, business interruption, or damage caused by hardware failure, operating system issues, third-party tools, user error, unsupported modifications, or missing backups.
5. Support & Recovery
If you face a data issue, contact support as early as possible. We may ask for logs, backup files, software version, system details, and a description of recent actions so we can guide safe recovery steps.
