Cloud Subscription Refund Policy
Last Updated: March 16, 2026
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to paid CodeAchi Libcodesk Cloud subscriptions purchased directly from us. Standalone software purchases are governed by the separate CodeAchi Return and Refund Policy.
2. Try the Community Edition before purchasing
We recommend using the Libcodesk Community Edition before purchasing a paid Cloud subscription. It allows you to evaluate the product's visible workflows and decide whether Libcodesk is suitable for your library before committing to a paid plan.
3. Cloud subscriptions are generally non-refundable
Paid Cloud subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the subscription is activated or cloud resources are provisioned. We begin incurring infrastructure, server, account-provisioning, and payment-processing costs when the service is booked and prepared for use.
Except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed by us in writing, we do not provide full or partial refunds, credits, or prorated refunds for:
- Change of mind, lack of use, or failure to use the subscription during the paid period.
- Cancelling or downgrading a plan after activation.
- Features, limits, compatibility, or operating requirements that were disclosed before purchase or could have been evaluated through the Community Edition.
- Connectivity, equipment, third-party service, or local-environment issues outside CodeAchi Libcodesk's reasonable control.
- Accounts restricted or terminated because of a breach of our Terms of Service or applicable policies.
4. Cancellation and future billing
Where recurring billing is enabled, cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal charges when the cancellation is completed before the next billing date. Cancellation does not refund the current paid subscription period, and access may continue until that period ends, subject to the applicable plan and Terms of Service.
5. Exceptional review
In an extreme or exceptional circumstance, CodeAchi Libcodesk may review a refund request on a case-by-case basis. Examples may include a verified duplicate charge, an incorrect charge, or a failure attributable to us that prevents the purchased Cloud service from being provisioned or used and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time.
Any exceptional refund is discretionary, does not create an entitlement or precedent for future requests, and may be full or partial depending on the circumstances and costs already incurred. This discretion does not limit any non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable law.
6. How to request an exceptional review
Email [email protected] with the subject line Cloud Refund Review - [Organization Name]. Include:
- Your organization name and registered account email address.
- The order, invoice, or transaction reference.
- A clear explanation of the exceptional circumstance.
- Relevant supporting information, including any related support reference.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. We may ask for additional information or reasonable troubleshooting before making a decision. If a refund is approved, it will normally be returned through the original payment method; payment-provider and banking timelines may apply.
